The Day Before Leaving

Hey, everyone! Thanks so much for checking out my travel blog. The point is to flood the posts with pictures and descriptions and anecdotes about my first trip ever to Europe. This way I don’t have to bug Facebook and piss people off by posting all the pictures there.

Jumping right in…

It’s Halloween. I spent some time yesterday packing and have a few last minute things to get from a store, but, for the most part, I am packed. My dad got us some pretty nice rolling backpacks, so if I need to carry the bag, I can put it on my back, as well as roll it around.  We have also used packing cubes, which helped compress some of my clothes down to make more room for fun stuff that I bring home. Since we are bouncing around so much the next two weeks, the goal was to get as much stuff in the bag as possible, but keep it light. The hope is that we’ll be able to do laundry at least once, otherwise we’ll be banking on hand-washing and hang-drying about half way through.

We will be starting out flying into Charlotte, North Carolina, catching a connector to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, spending 7 hours-ish there, then hopping on the big plane to Munich, Germany.

updated europe plan

We leave super late tonight/super early tomorrow, like 5 am or some crap. Getting real anxious. From Munich, we will go to Venice, Rome, Milan, Paris, Amsterdam, then Frankfurt.

Never done anything like this before. We can call this an early graduation present, or a late one (my dad has been promising me this trip since my high school graduation lol like almost 8 years ago). I’m anxious, but so excited!
