I have posts for Milan, Paris, and Amsterdam coming later in the next couple of days, but I wanted to take a minute and show my gratitude for the ability to take this trip.

First, a big thank you to my boyfriend who took great care of our house and my fuzzy baby, Calibur, while we were gone. When my initial dog sitting plans fell through, he wonderfully stepped up and took care of everything for us. I appreciate him so much for this and for everything he does for me.

Second, I thank my work for allowing me the time off for this once in a lifetime experience.

Last, but certainly not least, I need to thank my dad for this, as he is the one who made everything happen. He has been promising me this trip since I was in high school, and I kind of thought that maybe it would never happen, but here we are. He meticulously planned every location hotel-wise, all of the travelling arrangements, found great places to eat, and always made sure that we had time to do everything I wanted to do. Some of the times we were tired and crabby and had our issues, but I think that’s no different than any other father/daughter relationship, and we got through it and were able to enjoy each other’s company. I really cannot thank him enough for this opportunity and amazing experience. He’s always looking out for me and wanting me to experience the most and best in life that I can, and I am so lucky to have him. Thank you so much, Dad. I love you and appreciate you very much. Never would’ve done this without you ❤
