After the Sistine chapel, we made our way to St. Peter’s Basilica and Square.

This was a fantastic experience. Everything was so ornate and beautiful.

Now, the next post is going to be one of my favorite things ever. I am finally getting to follow the path (as much as I can) of Illumination from Dan Brown’s “Angels and Demons”, my favorite book ever. If you haven’t read it, read it. It’s so good. The movie was alright, I guess, as a stand alone, but I hated it bc Tom Hanks is not how I pictured Robert Langdon. The movie just makes me mad. But any way, that’s what inspired me to run all around Rome and see things I never would have known about if not for reading that book 14 years ago. I will get it posted soon.
